On the other hand, the actual name of the zip file file is "usb_ win7_1.0_20180102124716.zip", It did not produce any errors installing, but when I went to install it on Windows 10 the installer put up a screen. This raised some interesting questions: On the download tab of the Zhiyun website the driver is labeled as " Above Windows 7", which would suggest that it doesn't work with Windows 7.
Out on the web some people have attributed the "Open" and "Upgrade" buttons in the Zhiyun being disabled as a "driver problem". While investigating I determined that the problem with Zhiyun Gimbal Tools was reproducible on Windows 7, but that it seemed to work fine on Windows 10.
